Named after the town of Cotija in the Mexican state of Michoacán, this is a firm, crumbly aged grating cheese made mainly from cow’s milk.

Our Cotija is a versatile grating cheese, popular for enhancing the flavor of many savory dishes.  With a salty, zesty and full bodied flavor and dry, dense texture, Cotija has been nicknamed “the parmesan of Mexico.”
